Carbon Ceramic Brake Discs

Long-fibre coated carbon ceramic brake discs in two ranges: OE replacement discs for cars that came with carbon ceramic brakes from the factory, and conversion discs that replace your standard iron discs and fit your original calipers. Choose the section that matches the brakes on your car.

Which section do I need?

If your car left the factory with carbon ceramic brakes (Audi ceramic brakes, BMW M Carbon brakes, Porsche PCCB, Mercedes-AMG ceramic), choose OE Replacement. These discs are the same size as your original ceramic discs and are a cheaper alternative to main-dealer replacements.

If your car has standard cast iron brakes and you want to upgrade to carbon ceramic, choose Conversion. These discs replace your iron discs at the same size and fit your existing calipers.

How can I tell which brakes I have?

Factory carbon ceramic discs have a dark grey, mottled surface rather than shiny cast iron, and the calipers are usually painted in a colour specific to the ceramic option (for example gold on BMW M Carbon brakes and yellow on Porsche PCCB). Your car's build sheet or the brake code on the vehicle data sticker will also say. Factory ceramic discs are usually larger than the iron discs fitted to the same model, so the disc size in each listing is the quickest check.

Why long-fibre and coated?

Long, continuous carbon fibres give the disc its strength and crack resistance under repeated heat cycles. The coated friction surface protects the braking face and helps the disc bed in evenly with the pads. We only supply long-fibre coated discs.

Pads

Use carbon-ceramic-specific pads only. Standard pads made for iron discs will damage the ceramic surface.
